age 91, of Miramar Beach, FL, formerly of Kettlersville, died on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 10:49 P.M at the Covenant Care Hospice of Panama City, FL. He was born on November 13, 1925 in East St. Louis, IL, the son of the late Theodore R. and Mamie E. (Fischer) Miller. On October 28, 1950 he married Eilene Kettler, and she died on February 1, 1997. He later married Rebecca Cheatwood who died on July 18, 2017. Surviving are his children Brenda Moore of Cincinnati, Sandra Heitman of West Chester, Cory (Melody) Miller of Winter Garden, FL, and Chad (Fran) Miller of Sidney, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and his sister Shirley Tourville of Fairview Heights, IL. Along with his parents and his wives, Ted was preceded in death by a son-in-law Richard Moore, and his siblings James Miller, and Ruth Porter.

Ted was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Kettlersville, where he held several church offices over the years. He also served as a member of the Kettlersville Volunteer Fire Department. He proudly served as a Private in the Army Air Force during WWII, and was in the Army Reserves until 1951. He was in sales for many years with Lyons Electric of New Bremen and Becker Electrical Supply of Dayton until his retirement in 1989. Ted "Uncle Bud" was always available when someone needed a helping hand and he was never one to shy away from hard work.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Kettlersville, with Pastor Ed Rinehart officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Willow Grove Cemetery of New Bremen, followed by a time of lunch and visitation at the church, after the services at the cemetery. Memorial Contributions in memory of Ted can be made to the Immanuel U.C.C. Memorial Fund. Arrangements are being handled by the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home of New Bremen.
