ALICE F. WATERMAN age 87

Formerly of New Bremen, died on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11:35 A.M. at the Heritage Center, Minster, OH. She was born on August 11, 1929 in Wapakoneta, OH. She was the daughter of Ferd E. and Hazel M. (Fry) Burden. On January 18, 1955, she married Donald Waterman who died July 22, 1994. Survivors include her children; Rena and Bill Veit of Lenoir, NC., Cyndi and Stan Bergman of Phoenix, AZ., Craig Waterman of St. Marys, Amy and Dave Rose of Ft. Loramie, Julie and Dave Kettler of Kettlersville, and Brad and Kim Waterman of New Knoxville, fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and her brother Mark "Mick" Burden of Lima. She was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

Alice was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen. She had worked at Schwieterman's Pharmacy in New Bremen and enjoyed raising her family, which was her full time job. She also enjoyed line dancing.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen with Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Following the services, there will be a gathering and lunch in the Assembly Room at St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen. Arrangements are being conducted by the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen. Condolences to the Waterman family can be left online at www.gilberghartwigfh.com.
