Tribute & Message From The Family

of New Bremen, Ohio, on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 12:57 P.M. at the St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, OH. He was born on March 30, 1946 near Willowdell, OH. He was the son of Clarence and Jean (Martin) McGlinch. On April 23, 1994 he married Penny (Fry-Tangeman) McGlinch who survives near New Bremen. Also surviving is Kelley's son and daughter in law, Jamie and Kelley McGlinch of Versailles, his grandchildren Shane and Chelsea and his siblings, Tom (Lorene) McGlinch of Arcanum, Judi (Jerry) Baker of Clayton, Jane Agne of Versailles and Joanna McGlinch of Lima. Preceding him in death was his parents and his granddaughter Brook.
Kelley was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen where he had served as an usher. He was a member of the American Legion Post 241 of New Bremen and had volunteered at AGAPE in St. Marys. He served the United States in the Army Reserve. He retired in 2008 from Crown Equipment Corp. of New Bremen where he had worked for over 39 years. For the past 5 years, he has been working at the Auglaize Industries in New Bremen, assisting with client supervision, yard maintenance and upkeep on the vehicles. He enjoyed working in his shop, repairing and fixing up vehicles in need of repair.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. with the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen, and from 9 until 10 A.M. on Saturday at the church. The Rosary will be prayed at 10 A.M. on Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the New Bremen Emergency Squad or to AGAPE of St. Marys. My wife, Deb and I send our sympathy in these hours of sorrow. Kelley was a
true friend to everyone who knew him and always had his own smile that
distinguished him from everyone else. RIP Kelley. May God bless you.
