This is a great loss to the anonymous community in this area. The to help others with their disease was his passion. No one could probably count the number of lives he helped. He had so much wisdom.

So very grateful that Rick was my friend and helped me throughout the years. We shared many laughs along the way. I'm a friend of Lois W. but Rick never held that against me.

Rick inspired me to do more with my life. He taught me to pass it on and stay active, He is a great example of an "elder statesman." Lastly he taught us all to LIVE, LOVE and LAUGH. He will be missed HankS 5456

A great and humble friend. Rick was one to keep me in balance, and always one to think of the other person. A loving historian, collector of all sorts of things, and generous to all. I will miss Rick, and yet I am blessed to have had so many years as a friend and that will always stay with me.

My prayers are with yo Missy,Ben and John. He was a very good father and a very good man. He was very proud of his bricklaying craft and did it with perfection. He showed me different projects that he did with pride and I could see that he was a very good journeyman at his trade. I always enjoyed our friendship. Rest in peace Fred.y

I've known Rick since I moved to the area in 1998. Handlebar was one of the very first people to welcome me into the local community with open arms. I will never forget his dry wit, his smirk and his undying willingness to help other who needed the help only a few could give. Rick was a a loyal friend and a kind soul and I will treasure the memory of his friendship. My prayers go out to Angie and
