I want to thank all who posted memories of my brother, Handlebar Rick. He was always just a phone call away. Things change, and I must accept these things. He was a wonderful brother.
An early memory I have is of a construction crew building new houses close to ours. He would ride his bike there, and hang out with them. He was about 7 or 8.
He would take them cold water to drink in the basket on front of

Handlebar Rick will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a great influence on my recovery and I have learned a lot from him over the years. I'm sure he is having a wonderful time with Elaine Bowen and all of his other friends in heaven. My sincere sympathy goes to his family and friends. His memory will live on.

I surely will miss that smile. He was a man of humility and he was an inspiration to many but would never want any credit for it! That speaks volumes of his character! Thanks Rick for touching mine and many others lives!!!!!

Fred was a good person.Like everybody else in this world he had his flaws but I still respected the man for what he said to me one day at Walmart,he said"Chet one thing I respect about you is that you will do what ever you need to for your family" and I will always remember that
