Such a tremendous loss to us all. Sherri will be missed. She was one of the smartest, funniest women I have ever met and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and condolences to her family.

My thoughts and prayers goes out to the family. Sherri was always a outgoing person in my eyes. We always used to say that we were going to stay out of trouble. Everytime I was in the hospital she would come and visit me no matter what just just to see how I was doing, and to think I just asked about her the other day. Sherri may you rest in paradise my friend until we meet again. Stay sweet like always and that smile...

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with Sherri's friends and family. I worked with Sherri on several research projects over the years and enjoyed working with her. She was a very positive person and will be very much missed.

I'd like to offer my sincerest condolences to the Wissman family. I had the pleasure of knowing Sherri through her work at OSU and she was a wonderful nurse and leader. She provided phenomenal care to her patients and has touched many lives through her work. Sherri's family, friends and co-workers will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Sherri in the early years of the heart transplant program she was always an advocate for her patients.

So very sorry for your loss and I pray that God will comfort you and bring you peace at this difficult time. I worked with Sherri for a long time and I admired her calm, laid back attitude. I often wished I could copy it! She was a wonderful nurse who demonstrated genuine caring for others, which is hard to come by these days. She'll be greatly missed!!

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Although we actually only met in person once, I had the great pleasure of working with Sherri on LVAD clinical trials over the last two years. Sherri touched countless lives, and always reminded me that it was best to laugh as often as possible. She will be missed, and remembered with joy.

My deepest sympathies to your family. I'm not sure what the Ross nurses and patients will do without her. I was so fortunate to have known and worked with her. It is hard to believe that she is not a phone call away anymore. Heaven gained a fun, caring, loving individual. RIP dear friend.
