Dear Peg and Family,

Mark and I are so saddened by the news, of Joe's passing. Such a wonderful man. We are proud to say, we had the honor of knowing him. Joe was a very friendly guy, and a perfect gentleman. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Rest In Peace Joe!

To Peg and family and to Joe's siblings and families, Roger and I send our heartfelt condolences. I pray for the repose of Joe's soul and that God will give all family members and friends the strength to get through this difficult time.

Joe fought a brave fight to overcome his illness. May he now rest in peace.

I've met many people in my career. There are a few that really stand out as extraordinary people who's relationship goes beyond the normal working relationship. Joe's openness quickly took us to one of those relationships.
I am honored to have known Joe. I wish I'd known him better. I remember when he came to my office and told me about his cancer and his determination to be the guy who beat it. And he did beat it

I'm a better man, husband, and father for having Joe in my life. Rest in peace "JoJo". We love you.

Joe Eilerman and The Mission of Body and Blood (MBB) rescued our mission to Tanzania in 2012. St. John's Lutheran Church was returning to Northern Tanzania to continue it's mission with the Lutheran Diocese. Five weeks before departure we learned that the missionairies broke relations with the Lutheran Diocese! We had 21 volunteers with visas, immunizations and travel arrangements. Months earlier we had shipped a container holding X-ray equipment and a CAT generator. I remembered that Midmark had missions in

What a great guy! Quick witted and always had a smile on his face. Great husband, father and grandfather and he will be missed. Joe's heart for "the least of these", I know makes God smile.

My deepest sympathies to Peg, and his entire family.

I will forever be a better person for knowing Joe. In the time that I worked with him I learned so much about how to be a better friend, a better Christian, and a better person, simply by observing Joe be the person he was. God placed him in our lives for a reason and all who knew Joe were blessed by God through him.

The mischievousness and prankster from Joe was only superseded by his love and caring for his fellow brethren. Joe's ability to look around and see a need or someone in need and jump in to help set a benchmark all can learn from. His love of God was demonstrated by caring for others. Fighting the fight was another example of his dedication and desire to be with his family who he prized.

What an inspiration you were to all around you. You fought an unbelievable battle and showed all of us how strong a person can be.
Peg, Kim, Andy and families you all have our deepest sympathy. You ALL did an outstanding job supporting your husband and dad. Bob & Diana
